The New Way to Prepare: Just Talk - AI-powered avatar agent

Eureka is a chat- and voice-enabled virtual assistant designed to answer students’ questions using university resources to help them prepare for the final exam. The assistant is represented by an interactive avatar, bringing a more human touch.

Project Overview 🌱

I worked on designing an AI-powered assistant that helps students prepare for their exams. The assistant can chat or talk with users in both Arabic and English, making studying easier and more interactive. It’s accessible on both mobile and desktop, with voice interaction enabled through the device’s microphone.

Advocating for students with slow Internet 🌸

At first, the project was designed to work with voice. But since not all students have a strong internet connection, I wanted to make it easier for everyone to use. So, I suggested adding a chat option, making sure all students could prepare equally no matter their connection.

Old way, Lots of searching, little finding ⚡️

Before, students had to search through many pages and documents to find what they needed for exams. Now, with the AI assistant, they can simply ask questions and get quick, accurate answers in one place — making preparation faster and easier.

A student assistant you can talk to 🌴

To solve this, we designed an AI-powered assistant that students can chat with or talk to directly. It understands both Arabic and English, and it works seamlessly on mobile and desktop. All the student needs to do is activate their microphone, and they can start a conversation — just like talking to a real tutor.
