From Spreadsheets to Smart Compliance — All in One Place

The Compliance Management System is a centralized platform that helps organizations create, manage, and track their compliance with various standards. It allows teams to build custom frameworks, assign tasks, submit and review evidence, and monitor progress — all in one secure space.

Project Overview 🌝

I worked on a web platform that helps teams keep track of their compliance work more easily. My job was to make the experience simple to use, organize the main tasks clearly, and keep the design consistent across all parts of the product.

Problem & Goal 🍀

The challenge was to simplify a complex compliance workflow involving multiple user types—administrators, employees, and auditors—each with different responsibilities and data visibility.

Since we were starting from zero, I had to design every flow, screen, and interaction from the ground up.

Old way, Lots of searching, little finding 💰

Before, managing compliance was a slow and messy process. Teams used spreadsheets, emails, and scattered documents to track tasks and evidence. It was hard to see progress, find the right files, or keep everyone on the same page. Reviews took time, and small mistakes often caused big delays.

Standard Builder 🌻

This module lets admins create and manage standards easily. I designed a clean step-by-step layout so they can build standards, assign scores, and link them to clients without feeling lost.

Clients, Employees & Auditors 🌙

I created simple flows to add and manage users. Each person gets the right access depending on their role, keeping everything secure and organized.

Dashboards 🌱

I designed tailored dashboards for admins, clients, employees, and auditors. Each one shows the most relevant info for that user, helping them track progress at a glance.

Evidence Submission & Review 🌼

Employees can upload their evidence quickly, and auditors can review and approve it in one place. I focused on keeping the process transparent — everyone can see what’s pending and what’s approved.

To help large organizations stay organized, I designed a structure that groups people and standards by department.

What I Learned ✨

Starting from zero taught me how important it is to stay close to both users and developers. I learned to break down complexity into simple, clear steps — and how a good foundation (like a design system) saves time as the product grows.
